We created a small network of trustful & amazing child caregivers. Nannies or babysitters, our views in parenting are fundamentally similar. We align with child led methods of learning and caring. Furthermore, we emphasize gentle care & respectfulness. Other than connecting families with loving caregivers, we share knowledge and information between us and have nannies with different levels of experience who help each other out.

In order to be a part of the Nannies of Lisbon Network, the caregivers that apply must go through a screening process to make sure that they fit into the criteria involving five different steps:
Interview with our team
Applicants must have at least one professional experience caring for children. Informal childcare with family or friends is valuable, but professional experience is required.
Each nanny completes an interview with the Nannies of Lisbon team so we can get to know them and ensure they align with our values.
CV and references
Nannies must provide a CV including their childcare experience, skills, languages, and references from previous families.
Speaking English

Respectful childcare approach
We value caregivers who believe in respectful, child-led caregiving and understand the importance of consistency between families and nannies.
First Aid certification & criminal background check
Caregivers must hold an updated First Aid certification and provide a criminal record check.
